Voordeeluitjes.nl, our flagship product of providing cheap package deals in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and neighboring countries, which is extremely popular in the local market and awarded the Best Website for Hotel Reservations in 2021 is looking for passionate software developers to help expand the product offerings to our customers. We are focused on expanding our presence in Europe and would like to bring disruptive changes in the tourism industry by providing package deals that are suitable and affordable for our customers.

Who Are We?

We are Freetime India Development Center, a product-based company established in 2011, in partnership with Freetime Company B.V. The Netherlands.

We are pioneers in providing hospitality products used across the globe. Our solutions are targeted for small, mid-range hotel chains to bigger hotel chains. The product categories range from complete in-house solutions, integration of multiple channel managers for pricing and reservations combined with vacation planner website offering deals to attract guests.

We made a successful offering of our solutions to more than 3000 hotels including renowned hotel chains. Our product catalogues and solutions include Standalone and Cloud based Property Management Systems (PMS), which manages all guest portfolio activities at hotels, Reservation system, Channel Manager integrations with Global Delivery Systems, and Point of Sale (POS) systems that are used in hotels across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and the UK.

We are expanding our teams in India for rapid growth for a more exciting journey and innovation in theHospitality domain for upcoming years. We have a growth plan of going beyond 100+ people with diversified teams in the next 2-3 years.

What Will You Do?

As an SDE II on this team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the definition, design, vision, roadmap, and product features from beginning to end. You will develop scalable, reliable, and extensible services using native cloud technologies with Microsoft Azure. You will create efficiencies both in your team and others through reusable processes and designs. As an SDE II you will mentor other SDE I’s in the team and work with Sr.SDEs and Principal Engineers in driving the team goals. You need to communicate efficiently and understand the requirements of stakeholders to drive consensus between different teams and deliver software efficiently. You should be curious to learn about modern technologies and solve complex problems for our customers.

You will partner with SDE III’s on the team to drive execution of our roadmap and architectural plans for the technology as well as drive tradeoff decisions balancing long term vision with immediate impact to our customers. You will get an opportunity to be mentored by Principal Engineers and other Sr.Engineers on the team while working on the goals.

Requirements

What Do We Get From You?

Required:
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science / IT, ECE or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience contributing to architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and current systems)
  • 6+ Years of experience in developing applications using C#.
Nice to have:
  • Experience building cloud services on AWS / Azure.
  • Strong object-oriented design and coding skills (C# .NET Core)
  • Should have good knowledge in designing & developing building APIs (preferably using ASP.NET WEB API).
  • Experience in developing Microservices using .NET CORE
  • Should be strong in development and enthusiasm to learn new technologies
  • Should be a good team player.
  • Experience communicating with users, software development engineering teams, product owners to collect requirements, describe software product features and technical designs.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior software engineers or software developers in all aspects of their engineering activities.
  • Strong experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems and algorithms.
  • Deal well with ambiguous / undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
