Who Are We?

At VIPS PMS, part of Freetime Hospitality B.V., we foster an informal atmosphere where everyone is dedicated to providing the best service to our clients every day. For over 25 years, we have been a leading provider of reservation software in the Netherlands, serving B&Bs, hotels, and conference centers.

Our software development department consists of an international ‘Scrum’ team of C# .NET developers, front-end developers, testers, product owners, product managers, and a product strategist. For our office in Nieuwegein, we are looking for an ambitious C# .NET Developer.

Job description
.

What Will You Do?

You will be involved in developing (sub)applications, maintaining, improving, and scaling our current applications. We have several exciting projects at the top of our priority list.

We are constantly working on improving and expanding our VIPS CloudPMS application. This includes automating payments and check-in/check-out procedures, expanding core functionalities such as multi-language support, enhancing the back-end, integrating with partners via our open API, and transitioning existing features into a modular microservice environment. Maintaining high-quality code and an optimal workflow is always the foundation. Our goal is to work as a team and improve as a team.

You will be part of a Scrum team, where you collaborate with the product team to determine priorities. In consultation with the product owner, you will ensure all necessary documentation and knowledge required for the case or project. If needed, you will coordinate with stakeholders to gather the right information. Once all information is available, you and your team will get to work, create the appropriate documentation, and plan the cases for the upcoming sprint.

You will work in four-week sprints, where the team collectively plans and executes cases. Each sprint includes a high-low split poker estimation, and at the end of each sprint, you and your team will evaluate the results and processes.
