Who Are We?

At VIPS PMS, part of Freetime Hospitality B.V., we foster an informal atmosphere where everyone is dedicated to serving our clients every day. For over 25 years, we have been a leading provider of reservation software in the Netherlands for B&Bs, hotels, and conference centers.

Our software development department consists of an international ‘Scrum’ team of C# .NET developers, front-end developers, testers, product owners, product managers, and a product strategist. For our office in Nieuwegein, we are looking for an experienced and driven front-end developer.

What Will You Do?

As a front-end developer, you will collaborate with other front-end developers and the back-end team to expand our applications. These applications are used by both internal users and consumers.

We are continuously working on improving and expanding our VIPS CloudPMS application. This includes automating payments, optimizing the check-in and check-out process, expanding core functionalities like multilingual support, enhancing the back-end, integrating with partners via our open API, and transitioning to a modular microservice environment. High-quality code and efficient workflows are at the core of our work. Our goal is to work as a team and continuously improve.

In coordination with the product owner, you will ensure the necessary documentation and knowledge for each project or case. If needed, you will communicate with stakeholders to gather the right information. Together with the product owner and designers, you will create the appropriate mock-ups and visualizations. Once all information is available, you will collaborate with the team, draft the required documentation, and plan the cases for the upcoming sprint. You will work in four-week sprints, aiming to complete all planned cases successfully.
